On a cargo ship in Chile

(Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales, Chile, 17-20th of November 2017)

Instead of taking a flight or going by bus through the southern part of Chile we  booked us on a cargo ship. We booked a private cabin with window and bathroom and we had to pay almost 1000 US dollars each, a high price for a relatively low standard but we guess it is the experience we pay for, not the standard… 🙂

We really enjoyed our time on the ferry although the lack of WiFi  and “things to do”. We spent a lot of time reading books, playing games and looking at the views going down the fjords.

They served “basic” food on board but always together with salad and vegetables, which was actually, altogether, better than the food we have gotten used to in South America.
